Transfer of remains to funeral home, within 25 mile radius
(Beyond this radius we Charge $1.50 per mile additional)

Our fee for the services of funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to, Staff to respond to initial request for service; arrangement conference with family or responsible parties; arrangement of service;  preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits;  recording vital statistics;  preparation and placement of obituary notices;  and coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g., cemetery, crematory, vault companies and others required, as well as, staff assistance prior to, during and following the services.  Also included in these charges are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as sheltering of remains, professional licensing, legal and accounting fees, insurance, building and utility expenses, maintenance, taxes, equipment, furnishings, inventory costs, recordkeeping, and secretarial and administrative expenses.

Except in certain cases, embalming is not required by law.  Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with a viewing.  If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Other preparation of the body:

Our charge for this service includes transfer of remains (local) to funeral home; basic services of funeral director and staff; a proportionate share of overhead costs; embalming; dressing, casketing and cosemetizing; and motor equipment to point of transportation.  This charge does not include viewing, ceremony, merchandise or shipping charges.

Our charge includes basic services of funeral director & staff, removal of remains, temporary shelter of remains, transportation to crematory, authorizations and transfer of cremains back to funeral home.
If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container.  Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering).  The container we provide is made of fiberboard.

Our charge for an immediate burial (without ceremony) includes: basic services of funeral director and staff; a proportionate share of overhead costs; transfer of remains (local) to funeral home, embalming (optional) and transfer to cemetery.  This charge does not include viewing, ceremony or graveside service.
