Marcene S. Katinsky

Marcene S. Katinsky, 86 of Mt. Carmel passed away on Friday December 29, 2017.

Born on March 18, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Verna (Otto) Camp.
Marcene attended Ashland Schools.


On January 7, 1949 in SS Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Mt. Carmel she married Michael A. Katinsky who preceded her in death on February 5, 2008.

Marcene was a retired seamstress; she had been employed for 48 years in area garment factories before her retirement.

She was a member of the Grace United Church of Christ in Mt. Carmel and the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

She is survived by one daughter, Alverna Moleski and her husband Michael of Mt. Carmel; one son Michael Katinsky of Mt. Carmel; four grandsons, Michael Katinsky, Matthew Katinsky, Shawn and Brian Moleski; four great grandchildren Marissa, Peyton, Tristen and Brynnlee.
She was preceded in death by one sister Betty Kroshefski and four brothers Fred, Clyde, Peron and Edward Camp.

Religious services will be private with burial at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to the Grace United Church of Christ, 136 East Third Street Mt. Carmel.
