Rita M. Breslin

Rita M. Breslin, 83 of Mt. Carmel passed away suddenly at her home on Saturday, April 14, 2018.

Born and educated in Kulpmont she spent many years in Mount Carmel working for Rea & Derrick and then CVS before moving to Catawissa to continue her work with the company.

She returned to Mount Carmel several years ago where she resided until her passing.
Rita enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid reader, finishing five or six books per week.

She is survived by one son, Thomas Breslin and his wife Sheila; two daughters, Colleen Klaus and Sharon DiRienzo and her husband James; four grandchildren, Kelly Jochems and her husband Trevor, Kristi Klaus, Kelsi McGuirt and her husband Michael and Joe Masarick; three great grandchildren, Bradley Klaus, Braxtyn McGuirt and Landon Jochems.

Religious services will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel with Rev. Francis Karwacki officiating. Burial will be private.
