Thomas M. Mudrock

Thomas M. Mudrock, 78 of 18 Cameron Drive, Elysburg passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born in Marion Heights on October 18, 1939 he was the son of the late Michael and Susan (Kreisher) Mudrock.

Tom was a 1958 graduate of Kulpmont High School and then graduated from Temple University with a degree in electronics.

Prior to his retirement he was employed as an electrician at Merck Pharmaceuticals.

On December 24, 1972 in the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church, Elysburg he married the former Barbara Rick who survives.

Tom was a member of the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church, Elysburg, the Kulpmont American Legion Post 231, the Marion Heights Fire Company and the Valley Gun & Country Club, Elysburg where he was an avid trapshooter and enjoyed socializing there with his many friends.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Tom was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed his help. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and his beloved dog, Teddy.

Surviving in addition to his wife of over 45 years, Barbara Mudrock are five daughters, Joann Gluchowski and her husband Joseph of Exton, Diana Sceski and her husband Andrew of Lancaster, Lisa Schwartz and her husband Steven of Timonium, Maryland, Bonnie Ziegler of Marion Heights and Rita Bruns and her husband Mark of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; one son, Craig Mudrock and his wife Robin of Shrewsbury; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 11: 00 am in Holy Angels Church, 855 Scott Street, Kulpmont. Rev. Andrew J. Stahmer, Pastor will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Casimir’s Cemetery, Marion Heights. A viewing will be held on Friday morning from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in Holy Angels Church, Kulpmont.
