Obituary for Albert "JUNIE" Hixson
Albert J. “JUNIE” Hixson, 69, of 731 Summit Hill Road Aristes, passed away suddenly Monday morning April 9, 2018 at his home.

Born at Ashland State General Hospital on June 15, 1948, he was the son of the late Albert H. Hixson and Faye (Beaver) Hixson-Valencik who survives.

Junie was a 1966 graduate of Ashland Area High School.

He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Aristes, Life member of Aristes Fire Company #1, Centralia Fire Company #1, Member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Centralia American Legion Post # 608, Mount Carmel American Legion Post 91, Atlas American Legion Post 804, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2110, Lithuanian Social Club, West End Athletic Club all of Mt. Carmel, Wilburton Hose Company #1 and the Atlas Fire Company.

June enjoyed spending time in the outdoors hunting, fishing and loved going four wheeling on his Kawasaki Mule. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his mother Faye (Beaver) Hixon-Valencik of Mt. Carmel he is survived by two daughters Shelly Pinon of Crestline, California and Lori Waltman and her husband Darryl of Oak Hills, California, six grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan, Brittany, Matthew, Ronnie, Johnny, two great grandchildren Kaleb and Kaden, one sister Gloria Klemas of Mt. Carmel, one Aunt Mary Wolf of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, Cousins and his significant other Louise Mihalcik of Aristes.

In addition to his Father he was preceded in death by two Brothers Gary and Edward Hixson.

Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday April 14, 2018 with the Rev. Joan A. Brown officiating at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home 40 South Market Street Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor. Burial will at the Zion United Methodist cemetery in Aristes. Visitation will be held Saturday from 8 a.m. until the time of service in the Funeral Home.
