Obituary for Anthony F. Vezo
Anthony F. Vezo, 59, of 536 East Fifth Street, Mt. Carmel passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born in Shamokin on September 22, 1962, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Swaldi) Vezo.
He was a 1980 graduate of Shamokin Area High School.
Anthony was married in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church on October 27, 2012 to the former Ann Marie (Stellmach) Vezo who survives.
He was employed at Jeld-Wen Windows and Doors in Pottsville.
Anthony was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel parish. He was an avid animal lover all his life.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter Jessica Vezo of Stonington; two sisters, Mary Long and her husband Mike of Excelsior and Michelle Vezo and her significant other of Augustaville; step-mother, Carol Bielski of Shamokin; step-brother, Thomas Bielski of Paxinos; step-sisters, Tanya Rupp of Shamokin and Angela Dilliplane of Mt. Carmel; half-sister, Toni Ruth Bielski of Shamokin; nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by numerous aunts and uncles.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 11:00 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church with the Rev. Francis J. Karwacki, Pastor officiating. Interment will follow at Northumberland Memorial Park Cemetery in Stonington. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc.
