Antoinette M. Ryan

DANVILLE — Antoinette M. Ryan, 76, formerly of Mount Carmel, passed away Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, in Emmanuel Nursing Center, Danville. Born Sept. 16, 1939, in Mount Carmel, she was a daughter of the late Clem Przybylski and the late Josephine (Poklemba) Przybylski. She was a 1957 graduate of Catholic High in Mount Carmel. Antoinette had been employed at the former Kessler's Jewelry store in Mount Carmel, the former Fountain Springs Country Club, Ye Olde Butcher Shop in Mount Carmel and she retired from Mountain View Manor Nursing Home. She married Robert Ryan, who preceded her in death Jan. 3, 1974. Antoinette was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Mount Carmel. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading and playing pinochle. She is survived by three sons, Patrick Ryan and his spouse, Dale Linn, of Danville, Daniel Ryan and his wife, Jodi, of Washington, and John Ryan and his wife, Leeanne, of Elysburg; two daughters, Ann C. Madison and her husband, Dale, of Mount Carmel, Nicole Tate and her husband, Joel of North Carolina; nine grandchildren, Nathan Madison, Kyle Madison, Olivia Ryan, Madeline Ryan, Jacob Ryan, Dylan Ryan, Christian Ryan, Christopher Tate and Michaelina Tate; special cousins, with whom Antoinette was raised, Ann Marie Muldoon, Joan Butts and Mary Hentschel; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by a special cousin, Jean Patrick; her aunt and uncle who raised her, John and Anna Muldoon; and her grandmother, Anna Poklemba. RYAN — Antoinette M. Ryan, 77, formerly of Mount Carmel and of Emmanuel Nursing Center, Danville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday in our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Mount Carmel, with the Rev. Francis Karwacki as officiant. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at the Joseph J. Stutz Inc. Funeral Home, 40 S.
