Obituary for Barbara Gilliland
SEMINOLE, Florida — Barbara A. Gilliand, 74, of Seminole, Florida, formerly of Mount Carmel, passed away Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, at Sun Coast Hospice, Pinellas Park, Florida.
She was born in Mount Carmel Feb. 5, 1942, a daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (Malinowski) Wydra.
She was a 1959 graduate of Mount Carmel High School, and a graduate of the Washingtonville L.P.N. School.
Barbara was a retired licensed practical nurse. She had been employed at the Selinsgrove Center, Mansion Nursing Home and the former Shamokin State Hospital. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Mount Carmel.
She is survived by a son, Robert Herrold and his wife, April, of San Antonio; and three grandchildren, Rebecca, Victoria and Jeremy.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Evans, and her second husband, George Gilliand.
