Obituary for Dorothy Broda
Dorothy Broda, 86 of 784 Wilburton Road, Wilburton passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at her home in her own bed surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Centralia on November 5, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Catherine (Millich) Lovrich.

She attended the former Conyngham Township High School.

Dorothy was married in Mt. Carmel at SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church on November 15, 1958 to John Broda who preceded her in death on May 14, 2013.

She was employed in the shipping department at the former Lady Jane Garment Factory in Mt. Carmel.

Dorothy was a member of SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church. She was an extremely religious person and her family was everything to her.

Dorothy could often be found watching EWTN and Mass on TV. She prayed the rosary several times a day for whoever needed prayers and she also enjoyed spending quality time at home with her family.

Dorothy was a remarkable wise and intelligent woman. She was always providing valuable advice, counsel, direction and guidance. She was extremely unselfish, caring and kind. Her children were always her top priority. Dorothy was also known for her inviting sense of humor and strong work ethic.

She is survived by one daughter, Evelyn A. Bailoni of Mt. Carmel; two sons, Mark D. Broda and his companion Karen Bissaillon of Wilburton and John D. Broda of Wilburton; two granddaughters, Maddie Broda and Lexi Broda both of Paxinos; her grand-dog, Ivy; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Hynoski, Anna Lovrich, Barbara Lovrich; two brothers, John and Thomas Lovrich and her son-in-law, John J. Bailoni.

Divine Liturgy will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 11:00 am in SS Peter and Paul Ukranian Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Archpriest Michael Hutsko officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. A viewing will be held on Friday morning from 9:00 am until 10:45 am in the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor. In lieu of flowers, expression of sympathy can be made to SS Peter & Paul Building Fund, 131 North Beech Street, Mt.
