Dorothy C Wojcik

COAL TOWNSHIP — Dorothy C. Wojcik, 92, formerly of Mount Carmel, passed away Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at Mountain View: A Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Coal Township, where she had been a resident.

Born March 9, 1924, in Mount Carmel, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Cecelia (Bishop) Lisiewski. She graduated from Mount Carmel High School.
Dorothy had been employed as a waitress at the former Langis' Restaurant for more than 50 years and retired when the restaurant closed its doors. She truly loved going to work and socializing with all the customers.

She was married to Louis Wojcik, who preceded her in death Jan. 28, 1996.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Mount Carmel, and formerly a member of St. Joseph's Church, Mount Carmel. She enjoyed her many trips to the casino and always loved to be around people.

She is survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

WOJCIK — Dorothy C. Wojcik, 92, of Mountain View: A Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Coal Township, and formerly of Mount Carmel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Mount Carmel, with the Rev. Francis Karwacki as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Mount Carmel Township. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass Tuesday in the church. The Joseph J. Stutz Inc. Funeral Home, 40 S. Market St., Mount Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz III, supervisor, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 47 S.
