Eileen M. (Chapman) McFadden, 74 of 207 South Beech Street, Mt. Carmel, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, August 31, 2018 in her home.

Her family was of most importance to her; she truly lived for her children, grandchildren and her great-granddaughter. She was known to everyone as “Nanny” even to many who were not family. She attended all of her grandchildren’s school activities and sporting events and kept quite busy doing so. Her family was her life; she would do anything for them. Nanny will be lovingly remembered, deeply missed and surely never forgotten.

Surviving are her son, James J. McFadden, Jr. and his wife Cathy of Mount Carmel; her daughter, Angela Picarella and her partner Dr. Jeffrey Greco of Oak Ridge Estates, Mount Carmel Twp.; her daughter-in-law, Ann McFadden of Mount Carmel; four grandchildren, Loni Ann (Picarella) Aiello and her husband Joseph of Wilkes-Barre and Bryan, Kyle and Benjamin McFadden all of Mount Carmel; one great-granddaughter, Gia Aiello; two sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
