Harry R. Herb

Harry R. Herb, 81 of 220 South Vine Street, Mt. Carmel passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Geisinger-Shamokin Area Community Hospital, Coal Township.

Born in Mt. Carmel on April 23, 1941 he was the son of the late Harry and Eva (Wolfgang) Herb.

He was a 1959 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School.

On April 26, 1983 in Mt. Carmel, he married Marguerite (Catino) Herb who survives.

Harry was retired from the Beneficial Loan Company where he was employed for many years as a loan officer. After retirement, he had worked for the NAPA store in Mt. Carmel.

Harry was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed loafing at his son-in-law’s business, J.T. Welding in Natalie.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Nicole Thurick and her husband John of Natalie, and Jordan Herb and her partner Michael Guarna of Mt. Carmel; one sister, Bettylou Herb of Mt. Carmel.
