Obituary for James A. "Jim" Honecker
James A. “Jim” Honecker, 63 of Paxinos passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 at his residence.

Born in Ashland on October 24, 1958, he was a son of the late Joseph V. and Lorraine (Rolko) Honecker.

Jim was a 1976 graduate of Mount Carmel High School.

Mr. Honecker was a decorated Navy veteran.

He was previously employed with The US Postal Service in Harrisburg. He was also a tour bus driver for Catawese Coach Lines and King Coal Tours, a fitting job as he enjoyed driving.

Jim was an avid fisherman and hunter and was a member of Camp Theo in New York. He also enjoyed listening to music especially live music. He just loved being with friends, his faithful companion, his dog, “Leo”, and reconnecting with his P3 flight mates. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his family, especially his children.

Surviving are two sons, Christopher J. Honecker and his wife Sarah of Birmingham, England (UK) and Michael R. Honecker and his partner Christie Blair of Paxinos; one daughter, Dana M. Honecker and her fiancé Philip Pollock of Glendale, Arizona; one brother, Joseph Honecker and his wife Carol of Kulpmont; one sister, Joan Marie Guenther of Milton; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
