Kathryn "Dolly" Slotterback

Kathryn “Dolly” Slotterback passed away peacefully on Sunday July 11, 2021 surrounded by her family.

Kathryn was born August 8, 1934 at home in Cleveland Township, Columbia County, to Theodore and Anna (Mudrick) Klemick.
In her youth, she attended Reed’s School in Cleveland Township and she worked for the Kadel Family. In her later years, she worked for Knoebels Amusement Resort supervising and cleaning the log cabin before retiring in 2010. During her free time Kathryn enjoyed sewing, crafting, deer hunting, cooking, and faithfully reading her bible everyday.

Kathryn was married for 59 years to Donald. H. Slotterback Sr. before his death in January 2013.

She was also preceded in death by brothers, Micheal and Fred Klemick; a sister, Rose Fisher; half siblings, Mary Frederico,
Mary Roll, and Ed Payeskie Sr.; two daughters-in-law, Debra Miller Slotterback and Jackie Merlo Slotterback.

She is survived by sisters, Helen “Tootsie” Benfer of Selinsgrove and Anna Jurbala of Berwick; a brother, Joesph “Butch” Klemick of Elysburg; her 6 children, Kathy Eckrote and husband Dennis of Drums, Carol Slotterback, Donald Slotterback Jr., James Slotterback and companion Chris Kutza, Jerry Slotterback and companion Lisa Moyer all of Elysburg, and Karen Maurer and husband David of Catawissa; fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

At the request of Kathryn there will be no viewing, her ashes will be laid to rest next to her husband Donald in All Saints Cemetery, Bear Gap at the convenience of the family. Joseph J. Stutz, Inc.
