Obituary for Kathryn E. Cuff
Kathryn E. Cuff 84 of Mount Carmel passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born in Mt. Carmel on April 15, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Polinsky) Cuff.
Kathryn was a 1954 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School.
She had been in employed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation for fourteen years and then when on to work for the United States Department of Agriculture as a program specialist for twenty years before retiring. While working in Washington she volunteered her time at the Georgetown University Hospital.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish and the Mt. Carmel Senior Action Center. Kathryn enjoyed traveling. She was a loving and caring daughter, sister and aunt.
Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters Ann M. Cuff and Margaret Mahaffey, two brothers Thomas and Joseph Cuff.
Services will be private with interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Beaverdale. Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel, Joseph J.
