Marie L. Kraftchak

Marie L. Kraftchak, 92 of 648 Second Avenue, Wilburton passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021.

Born in Mt. Carmel on January 31,1929, she was the daughter of the late Henry B. and Margaret (Berzinski) Angeli.

She was a 1948 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School.

Marie was married on July 22,1950 in Reading to Lamar H. Kraftchak who preceded her in death in 1993.

She had been employed the former Woolworth’s, JC Penny and Langis’s Candy Shop all of Mt. Carmel.

Marie was of the Lutheran faith. She also belonged to the Wilburton Senior Center. In her younger years, she enjoyed roller skating. Throughout her life, she was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles.

Surviving are her daughter Lisa Kraftchak-Kirstein; five grandchildren, Ashley Gonzales, Zarhary Kirstein, Madison Kirstein, Samuel Kirstein and Oliver Kirstein.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson Anthony Kirstein; three brothers, Henry, Glenn and David Angeli.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 12,2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor.
