Obituary for Michael A. Mayernick
Michael A. Mayernick, 67 of 316 West Lilly Road, Aristes a former lifelong resident of Centralia passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at his residence.

Born in Danville on July 16, 1951 he was a son of the late John and Bertha (Mekosh) Mayernick.

He was a graduate of Hazleton High School.

Mike was a retired bridge inspector in the highway construction industry.
On May 14, 1977 in Centralia he married the former JoAnn Lindenmuth who survives.
He was a member of the Assumption B.V.M. Ukrainian Catholic Church, Centralia. Mike was an avid craftsman and enjoyed designing and manufacturing wind vanes.

Surviving in addition to his wife of over 41 years, JoAnn Mayernick are his four children, Jason Mayernick of Baltimore, MD, Ashley Mayernick Landon and her husband Daniel of Tower City, Michael Mayernick, Jr. of Aristes and Matthew Mayernick and his wife Marisa of Mt. Carmel; his six granddaughters who he loved more than anything, Mackenzie, Keira, Ella, Nevayah & Ava Landon of Tower City and Samantha Mayernick of Mt. Carmel; his brother, John Mayernick and his wife Linda of Numidia; his sister, Barbara Jurgill of Aristes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was his sister Mary Mayernick.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
