Obituary for Robin Brzostowski
Robin Brzostowski, 63, passed peacefully in her sleep on Friday, August 5, 2022 after a four year battle with cancer.
Born on October 7, 1958 to Roberta B. (Harbaczewski) Timmins who survives in Shenandoah and the late Glenn Francis Timmins who preceded her in death on December 24, 2021. Robin grew up in Shenandoah where her grandparents resided.
On September 17, 1977 she married the love of her life, Michael Brzostowski. They would have celebrated 45 years of marriage this year.
Robin had an amazing life with incredible friends, Tina, Annette, Karen who became her sister-in-law, Betty, Roberta, Alicia, Gail and many more. Robin was very artistic and creative. She utilized her talent by opening a ceramic shop in Mount Carmel in 1989 in which she enjoyed teaching classes to children, adults, and people with disabilities. She later opened a thrift store where she not only donated items to people in need, but also her profits to families in financial need and was always opening her store to help countless fire victims and their families.
Through their love, they created an amazing family having eight children and blessed with six grandchildren who were her pride and joy. Her surviving children are Christie Beagle and husband Sam, Mandy Menapace and husband CJ, Jessica Odorizzi and husband Joseph, Brooklyn Marquette and partner Marty DeFrancesco, Dakota Brzostowski and finance Kayla Poe, Alex Brzostowski and partner Kaitlyn Wylie, Jeffery Brzostowski, and Elijah Brzostowski and partner Shannon Bendas; six amazing grandchildren, Jacob Belfanti, Addison, Kaylyn, and Aryanna Odorizzi, and Mason and Sophia Fantini. She is also survived by three siblings, Michael, Glenn, and Marla Timmins; nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends. She will be missed by not only her family and friends but also by the community. It only take a few seconds to say goodbye to someone you love but it will take the rest of our lives to forget her. Her memory will live on forever in our hearts.
In addition to her father, Glenn Timmins, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alma and Michael Hartz, and best friend Roberta Matulewicz.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Divine Redeemer Church with the Rev. Bernard Wamayose, Pastor as the celebrant. A visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor.
