Obituary for Roger A. Kramer
MOUNT CARMEL — Roger A. Kramer, 63, of 104 S. Peach St., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born in Hazleton, July 7, 1953, a son of the late Theodore and May (Schoker) Kramer.
Roger attended Mount Carmel schools. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was honorably discharged in 1972.
He was married Aug. 4, 1984, in Mount Carmel, to Diane (Mooney) Kramer, who survives.
Roger was employed as a construction worker most of his life following his military service.
He was a member of New Hope Wesleyan Church and the Living Waters Church of God, both of Frackville.
He was also an avid hunter.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Brian, Daniel and Roger Kramer, and five daughters, Tammy Brown, Amy, Amanda, Amber, Brenda and Jessica Kramer, all of Mount Carmel; several grandchildren; two sisters, Lois Vezo, of Mahanoy City, and Margaret Vezo, of Mount Carmel; three brothers, Bobby Kramer and his wife, Donna, of Mount Carmel, Randy Kramer and his wife, Jean, of Mount Carmel, and Richard Kramer and his wife, Shirley, of Shamokin; and several nieces and nephews.
KRAMER — Roger A. Kramer, 63, of 104 S. Peach St., Mount Carmel. Religious services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, at Joseph J. Stutz, Inc., Funeral Home, 40 S. Market St., Mount Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz III, supervisor, with reverends Barry Brown and Ed Kopack officiating. Burial will be at Sunnyside Cemetery, Lavelle. Viewing will be 6 to 9 p.m. Thurday, and 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
