Obituary for Rosemarie Casterline Gruver
Rosemarie Casterline Gruver, 88, of Elysburg, peacefully went to be with the Lord with family by her side Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at her home after a recent diagnosis of leukemia.

She was born in Plymouth, PA on August 4, 1934, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Garbor) Kusma.

On May 3, 1952, she married Ernest Casterline of Wilkes-Barre, PA. They shared 42 years of marriage, raising two children, supporting them through sports and photography passions. They celebrated their 40th anniversary with a vowel renewal two years before losing her husband to heart disease. In 1996, she moved to Elysburg to be closer to family.

On June 1, 2002, she married Albert Gruver of Dallas, PA with whom she enjoyed a marriage full of traveling, laughter, and countless memories until his passing due to cancer.

She spent over 40 years working in a dress factory in Wilkes-Barre. When she moved to Elysburg, she worked at Weis Markets in Sunbury for five years before joining the Knoebels gift shop family. She had a fiery spirit and was loved by many, quickly becoming known to park-goers as "Hat Shop Rose." She loved going to work at the park and treasured her Knoebels friends and customers alike.
