Ruthann M. Lubinski Ruthann M. Lubinski, age 60, 203 Freewill Road, Catawissa, passed away Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at her home. Born in Ashland State Hospital, on May 19, 1955, the daughter of the late Joseph J. Kripplebauer and the late Verna (Ryan) Kripplebauer, she was a 1973 graduate of Newark High School. Ruthann was employed in various occupations during her working career. Most of all she cherished her time as a mother and housewife. Ruthann was an avid traveler and shopper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Lubinski, on January 18, 2016. Survivors include a son, Jack Allen Jr., and his fiancée, Denise Giradi, of Mount Carmel; a daughter, Joanne Marsh, and her husband, James, of Bath; seven grandchildren: Samantha Megosh and her husband, Andrew, of Sunbury; Stephanie Allen and her fiancé, James Jadus, and Sabrina Allen, all of Shamokin; Damien Steffen of Bath; Dylan Reinard of Mount Carmel; James and Kayla Marsh; brother, Joseph Kripplebauer, and his wife, Judy, of Mount Carmel; three sisters: Patricia Thompson and her husband, Kenneth, of Newark, Del.; Ellen Sage and her husband, Luther, of Ranshaw; Mary Coghlan and her husband, James, of Hattiesburg, Miss.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Religious services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at 2 p.m. from Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 S. Market St., Mount Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz III, Supervisor. The Rev. Rose Marquardt will officiate. Viewing will be held Thursday from noon until the time of the service in the Funeral Home.
