Angela Elizabeth Fincato, 84 of Mount Carmel, passed away on Sunday, November 30th, 2025 in her home. She was born on June 22, 1941, the daughter of the late E.J. and Martha (Milevich) Fincato.

Angela was a 1959 graduate of the former Catholic High in Mount Carmel. In 1963, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education from Pennsylvania State University.

Angela chose to work in the Social Work profession and was employed by the City of Philadelphia Department of Human Services for thirty years. The agency partially sponsored her professional education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Work where she received a master’s degree in social work. Subsequently, Angela served as a field instructor for the University as she supervised a number of students attending the school for their advanced degrees. At the agency, Angela's job assignments encompassed the roles of social worker, supervisor and social work administrator. Additional professional activities covered a wide range of topics including the provision of agency input into the formation of PA state regulations governing the provision of services to children. She also established a unit which provided services to adolescent parents.

Over the course of her lifetime, Angela traveled to Europe eight times, including four visits to Paris, her favorite European city. Stateside, Angela traveled frequently to the American West. She visited and traveled with friends who resided there. Besides travel, Angela enjoyed art museums, botanical gardens, gardening and undertaking home improvements.

At the onset of retirement, Angela relocated to the family home in Mount Carmel where she cared for her mother until her passing in December 2006. Angela's beloved sister, Mary Louise Fincato passed away in August 2024.

Angela was a member of Divine Redeemer Church.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family with interment in Saint Peter’s Cemetery, Mount Carmel Township. Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt.
