Ann Margaret Martin, 98, of the The Villages, FL, formerly of Centralia and Alexandria, VA passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, November 15, 2025 in her home with her children.
Born in Centralia on June 30, 1927, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Kuchtanich) Mekosh.
Ann was a 1945 graduate of the former Hubert Eicher High School, Centralia. She also furthered her education having earned an associate’s degree in business.
She was a retired office manager for NASA at their headquarters in Washington, DC.
Ann was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Wildwood, FL and was a former member of St. Lawrence Church in Alexandria, VA.
Surviving are her son, Kevin Donaleski of Alexandria, VA; her daughter, Gayl Martin of The Villages, FL; and one brother, Joseph Mekosh of Clearwater, FL.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Donaleski; four brothers, Michael, Charles, George and John Mekosh; three sisters, Julia, Mary and Elizabeth Mekosh.
Divine Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, Centralia with Rev. Paul Spotts officiating. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Mount Carmel Township. A viewing will be held on Wednesday morning from 9:00 am until 10:40 am at the Joseph J. Stutz Inc. Funeral Home, 40 S. Market St., Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz III, Supervisor.
