Charles Russen

Charles Russen, 67 of 50 South Spruce Street, Mt. Carmel passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 in his home.

Born on November 4, 1958 at the former Ashland State Hospital, he was the son of the late Charles and Irene (Mayernick) Russen.

Charles was a 1977 graduate of Mt. Carmel Area High School.

Charles, a retired construction worker known for his masonry and carpentry skills. His work is enjoyed and appreciated in surrounding homes in the area. His love and interest of woodworking and art is shared with family and friends.

He was a simple man that cherished the little things in life. Family was important to him, never breaking the promise that he made to his father to care for his mother. His kind heart will always remain.

Surviving are one sister, Anne Cuff and her husband Ted of Mt. Carmel; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Charles will be reunited with his beloved siblings, Valerie Williams and Donna McGinley and John Russen.
