Christopher J. Dauber, 56 of 105 South Walnut Street, Mount Carmel, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Nanticoke on August 5, 1967, he was a son of Teresa (Mitarnowski) Dauber and the late Larry Dauber.

He was a graduate of Crestwood High School.

Mr. Dauber was a US Navy veteran.

He was a retired HVAC instructor at State Correctional Institution - Mahanoy.

On May 12, 2007 in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, he married Millie Mikulski who survives.

Chris was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish.  He was an avid Penn State and Philadelphia Phillies fan.

Surviving in addition his mother and wife are his daughter, Noel Dauber; two sons, Brandon Dauber and Bryce Dauber; one grandchild, Jonah; one sister, Renee Dauber; two brothers, Jeff Dauber and Rich Dauber; his mother-in-law, Mildred Mikulski; brother-in-law, Edward Mikulski; nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death in addition to his father was his step-son, Evan Matthew Mikulski on January 4, 2022.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 47 South Market Street, Mount Carmel with Very Rev. Francis J. Karwacki, Pastor as the celebrant.  A visitation will be held on Friday morning in the church prior to Mass from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.  There will be no visitation at the funeral home.  Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mount Carmel, Joseph J.
