Gwen Lee McMahon

Gwen Lee McMahon, 82, of Catawissa, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on March 2, 2026.

She was born on October 1, 1943, in Pierre, South Dakota, to Hubert Edwin Miller and Alpha Adelaide Hardy.

Gwen was a 1961 graduate of T.F. Riggs High School in Pierre.

She married Thomas T. McMahon on July 25, 1964 in Fort Pierre, South Dakota.

A devoted homemaker, Gwen found her greatest joy in caring for her family and watching her grandchildren grow.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas McMahon, their children, Lisa (Scott) Worgull of Sylmar, CA; Susan (Gordon) Zimmermann of Kelowna, British Columbia; Scott (Cathy) McMahon of Beaverton, OR; Daniel McMahon of Catawissa, PA; and Erin (Dan) Skonecki of Paxinos, PA; and twelve grandchildren, Hayley, Kevin, Lindsey, Elise, Liam, Meredith, Matthew, Keira, Vivienne, Ava, Brooks, and Colt. Gwen is also survived by her siblings, Linn Miller of Rapid City, SD; Mary (John) Newland of Rapid City, SD; and Jan (Tammy) Miller of Pierre, SD.
