Jolene J. (Angeli) Janovich, 72, of 177 Missouri Lane, Kulpmont passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026. She is now reunited with her loving husband whom she missed beyond words.

Born on September 15, 1953 at the former Ashland State Hospital, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Victoria (Kopchak) Angeli.

She attended Holy Spirit School and was a 1971 graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes High School.

On July 12, 1975 in the former St. Peter’s Church, Mount Carmel she married the love of her life, James Mark Janovich, who preceded her in death on November 4, 2024. They were married for 49 years before Jim’s passing.

She spent the last days of her life surrounded by her loving family, which is exactly what she wanted. Her heart was full of joy and love. She shared many beautiful memories and laughs.

Jolene had several jobs throughout her life, but the two jobs that were her reason for living was being a mother and grandmother. There was nothing besides her husband that she loved more than her three children and her six grandchildren. She was front and center for everything in their lives, never missing a school or sporting event. Her grandchildren were her greatest pride, joy, and blessing.

She is survived by her three children who adored her and are eternally grateful to her, Jennfer (Damon) Morris, Kulpmont, James (Heather) Janovich, Etters, and Jeffrey (Laura) Janovich, Mount Pleasant Mills; the six lights of her life, her grandchildren, Jessa and Addison Janovich, Emily Morris, and Brandy, Zander and Kale Janovich; her sister, Kathy (John) Angeli, Brookhaven; her brother-in-law, Richard (Dolores) Janovich, Ranshaw; her sister-in-law, Patricia Janovich, Trevorton; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 11:00 am in Holy Angels Church, 855 Scott Street, Kulpmont with Rev. Andrew J. Stahmer, Pastor as the celebrant. Interment for Jolene and her late husband, Jim, will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Bear Gap. A visitation will be held in Holy Angels Church on Monday morning prior to the mass from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
