Judith B. Hause, age 81 of 232 B Church Street, Catawissa, PA passed away on Sunday, February 08, 2026 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville surrounded by her family.
Born September 28, 1944 at Crozier Medical Center in Upland, PA she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Crystal Burnett. She resided in Delaware County, PA until 1972, afterward resided in Columbia County, PA until the time of her passing.
She graduated from Penn Crest High school where she was a proud band member.
On February 20, 1962 she married the love of her life, the late Harvey F. Hause Sr. who preceded her in death on September 07, 2020.
Judy was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church in Bloomsburg.
Judy worked in the accounting department at Geisinger Medical Center for twenty-five years and later at Park Street Chiropractic until her retirement in 2006.
From 1972 to 1984, her warm caring nature, wonderful cooking and open door made her a well know “Second Mom” to many teens and children within the town of Centralia which she loved dearly. She always retained a great love of family, preparing Sunday dinner gatherings, gardening vegetables and flowers, raising egg laying chickens and everything at the Jersey Shore.
Survivors include her son, Harvey Hause Jr. and his wife Sandra of Den-Mar Gardens; her two daughters, Sherri Duncan and her husband Rick of RR Catawissa; Karen Panko and her husband John-(JP) of RR Bloomsburg; six grandchildren, Deanna Weber, Kimberly Hashagen, Ashley Panko Kost and her husband Ricky; Mikael Hause and his wife Reilly, Ryan Panko and his fiancé Emily, Lauren Hause Reinaker and her husband Justin and four great-grandchildren, Lily Ellis, Amelia Bordner, Dominic Hause and Cole Reinaker.
In addition to her parents and her husband Harvey Hause Sr., Judith was preceded in death by her two sisters, Dorthy Benner, Jean Limburg and a brother, Robert Burnett.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 1:00 pm in Saint Columba Catholic Church, 342 Iron Street, Bloomsburg, with Rev. Aaron Lynch as the celebrant. Interment will be private in All Saints Cemetery, Bear Gap. Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mount Carmel, Joseph J.
