June M. Froutz

June M. Froutz, 90, of 30 North Market Street, Mt. Carmel, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025 surrounded by her loving family in her home.

She was born on November 5, 1934 in Mt. Carmel and was the daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy (Mills) Marcoon.

June was a 1952 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School.

On July 9, 1955 in the Grace United Church of Christ in Mt. Carmel, she married her high school sweetheart, Carl J. Froutz, Jr. who preceded her in death on November 17, 2020.

June had been employed for many years at the former Stecker’s Office Supply Store in Mt. Carmel.

She was a member of the Grace United Church of Christ, the Order of the Eastern Star and the Dorcas Class.

June enjoyed sewing and gardening but most of all she enjoyed taking care of her loving family and home.

Surviving are one son, Carl Froutz III, and his wife Nancy of Mt. Carmel; one daughter Dorothy Froutz and her wife Bonnie Blouse of York; two grandchildren, Paul Froutz and his wife Amanda of Maryland and Aurora Froutz of Mt. Carmel; two great-grandchildren, Levi and Harper Froutz; one brother, Robert Marcoon of Levittown; and nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents and her husband were one brother, Walter Marcoon Jr. and one sister, Mildred “Millie” Tysarczyk.

Religious services will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz III, Supervisor. A viewing will be held on Thursday morning from 9:30 am until 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
