Karen Ambrose

Karen Ambrose, 70 of 117 South Poplar Street, Mt. Carmel passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born in Danville on January 14, 1953, she was a daughter of the late William J. and Cecelia H. (Bronkoski) Kieski.

She was a 1970 graduate of Mt. Carmel Area High School.

Karen was married in the former St. Casmir’s Church in Kulpmont on October 16, 1971 to Charles B. Ambrose who preceded her in death on December 25, 1992.

She had been employed as a package handler at Packing Resources in Mt. Carmel Township.

Karen was a very loving mother and grandmother.  She devoted her life to raising her two sons, whom she adored. She also cherished her time with her granddaughters.

Surviving are two sons, Mark Ambrose and his wife Monika and their daughter Izabella of Pen Argyl, and Brian Ambrose and his daughter Lauren of Pottsville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Angels Church in Kulpmont.  Interment will follow in St. Casmir’s Cemetery, Marion Heights.  Joseph J.
