Kathryn A. Miller

Kathryn A. Miller of Mount Carmel, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at the Mount Carmel Senior Living Community.

Born on March 28, 1950 at the former Ashland State Hospital, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Dorthy (McGinn) Martin.

She was a graduate of North Schuylkill High School.

On October 23, 1971, in Mt. Carmel she married James “Bucky” Miller who preceded her in death on September 13, 2023.

Kathryn had been self employed for many years as a notary in Mt. Carmel.

She enjoyed doing puzzle books, putting puzzles together, playing games on her tablet and was an avid card player.

Surviving are two daughters, Eva Lamberson and her husband John of Sunbury and Jeanine Weaver of Mt. Carmel; four grandchildren, Austin Miller, Alexis Lamberson, Tyler and Dylan Weaver; three brothers, Daniel Martin and his wife Pam of Ashland, Dave Martin and his wife Elizabeth of Maryland and Bob Martin of Leighton; and nieces and nephews.

Religious services will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 11:00 am with Rev. Joan A. Brown officiating at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Township. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at the funeral home.
