Leonard L. Topolski, 90, of Ranshaw, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at the Mt. Carmel Senior Living Community.
Born on October 1, 1935 in Ranshaw, he was the son of the late Bolick and Julia (Kopitsky) Topolski.
He was a 1953 graduate of Coal Township High School.
Leonard served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1954 until 1956.
On November 6, 1965 at the former St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Ranshaw, he married Beatrice Ellen “Bea” (George) Topolski who preceded him in death on August 4, 2023.
Leonard was a member of Mother Cabrini Parish in Shamokin and a former member St. Anthony’s parish in Ranshaw. He was a life member of the Brady Fire Company and former President of the Ranshaw Hunting Camp.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed his many trips to the casino and playing cards.
Surviving are three daughters, Denise Bebenek and her husband John of Overlook, Lisa Brown and her husband Troy of Mechanicsburg, Lori Taylor and her husband Les of Catawissa; one son, Robert Topolski of Ranshaw; nine grandchildren, Amber Bressi and her husband Joshua, Amanda Bebenek, Troy Brown III and his wife Kaitlynn, Kyle Brown, Lauren Samuels and her husband Joey, Andrew Taylor, Justin Taylor and his wife Chelsea, Rachel Brown and Connor Brown; six great-grandchildren, Liam Birster, Ariel Brown, Troy Brown IV, JJ Samuels, Franklin Taylor and Benjamin Taylor; a sister-in-law Ellen Topolski.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents and wife were three brothers, Eugene, Norbert and Jerome Topolski.
Religious services will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 11:00 am with the Rev. Martin O. Moran officiating at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor. Interment with military honors will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Ralpho Township. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at the funeral home.
