On February 8th, 2026, Louise Marie Beierschmitt was reunited with her mother Ruth Beierschmitt and her father William Beierschmitt after a short battle with cancer.
Louise was born in Shamokin on June 5, 1947. She was a lifelong resident of Mt. Carmel, where she graduated from Mt. Carmel Catholic High School and had a 30-year career at White Shield Pharmacy that later became Rite Aid.
Louise was a parishioner of Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, Mount Carmel.
She enjoyed sitting on her porch talking with neighbors and friends. When family visited they would have big picnics at Knoebels where Louise would always play games in the arcade and ride the Phoenix with the kids.
Louise was a faithful devoted lifelong friend to many who will miss her companionship.
She is survived by her sisters, Joan Schram and her husband Joseph and Ruth Pryor and her husband Thomas; seven nieces and nephews, Kenneth Pryor and his wife Jennifer, Scott Pryor and his wife Amy, Eric Pryor and his wife Michelle, Christopher Pryor and his wife Julie, Todd Schram and his wife Melissa, Tara Schram and her husband Scott Johnson, and Erin Schram-Miller and her husband Zachary; and many great-nieces and great-nephews that she cherished deeply.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 47 South Market Street, Mount Carmel with Rev. Patrick A. Devine as the celebrant and Rev. Msgr. Francis J. Karwacki concelebrating. Interment will be private in All Saints Cemetery, Bear Gap. A viewing will be held on Saturday morning from 9:30 am until 10:45 am in the church. Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mount Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz III Supervisor has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to your local Hospice agency.
