Mary A. Stiklaitis

Mary A. Stiklaitis, 93 of 338 S. Maple St., Mt. Carmel passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born in Mt. Carmel on January 22, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Bolick and Anna Stiklaitis.

She was a 1941 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School.

Mary retired from the former Bell Telephone Company where she achieved Pioneer status after working for over forty years.

She was a longtime member of the former Holy Cross Church, Mt. Carmel. Mary was currently a member of the Church of Our Lady, Mt. Carmel.

She was an avid painter and enjoyed doing needle crafts.

Surviving are her nephew, David Stiklaitis of Lansdale; one niece, Mary Ellen Casey of Schwenksville; additional nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were three brothers, Joseph, Albert and Edward Stiklaitis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Rev. Francis J. Karwacki, Pastor will officiate. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Township. A viewing will be held on Wednesday morning from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 S. Market St., Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor.
