Mary I. (Lally) Bozylinski, 78, of Raven Run, West Mahanoy Township passed away on Thursday afternoon, September 24, 2026 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born at the former Locust Mountain State General Hospital, Shenandoah Heights on March 15, 1948, she was the daughter of the late James I. and Anna A. (Rusk) Lally.

She was a 1965 graduate of the former J.W. Cooper High School, Shenandoah.

On July 26, 1969 in the former Saint Joseph’s Church, Girardville, she married Robert Dennis Bozylinski who preceded her in death on January 19, 2026.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a secretary for the Shenandoah Valley School District.

She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah, and the former Saint Vincent de Paul Church, Girardville.

Mary was deeply proud of her Irish heritage, which she carried with great love and pride throughout her life. She was also a devoted and diehard Notre Dame fan, always cheering faithfully for the Fighting Irish and sharing her enthusiasm with family and friends. She was quick-witted and possessed a wonderful sense of humor, along with a warm, straightforward personality. She had a way of bringing laughter to those around her while always speaking with honesty and sincerity.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, James G. Lally on April 4, 2004.

Surviving are her two sons, Rob Bozylinski and Brian Bozylinski both of Raven Run; nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends and neighbors.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at 10:30 am in Divine Mercy Church, 234 West Cherry Street, Shenandoah with Rev. Msgr. Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor as the celebrant. A visitation will be held on Wednesday morning from 8:30 am until 10:30 am in Divine Mercy Church. Interment will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 9:00 am at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel, Joseph J.
