Nancy “Anna” Brennan, 92 of 145 Laurel Lane, Mt. Carmel passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the Mount Carmel Senior Living Community.
Born in Ashland on October 21, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Puketza) Bergan.
On August 21,1954 in St. Ignatius Church in Centralia she married John E. Brennan who preceded her in death on October 23, 2005.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish and the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
Surviving are two sons, John (Cheri) Brennan, Francis (Dottie) Brennan; three daughters, Anne (Bob) Polifka, Colleen (Randy) Johnson, Karen (Bob) Shannon; grandchildren, John (Nicole) Brennan, Eric Brennan, Mark Brennan, Lindsay (Doug) Fetterolf, Stephen (Shannon) Polifka, Bryan (Shauna) Polifka, Chris (Amber) Johnson, Trevor (Kelsey) Johnson, Brian (Charlene) Shannon, Joe Shannon, Tom (Kenzie) Ferrari; great-grandchildren, Bianca, Genevieve, and Shane Brennan, Kolton, Tyson and Devan Fetterolf, Owen and Preston Polifka, Gavin and Evan Shannon and Keia Resendes; sister, Kay Brennan; brothers, Francis Bergan, Joseph (Eileen) Bergan; sister-in-law, Jody Bergan; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Bergan and sister-in-law, Jean Bergan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 20, 2023 at 11:00 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church with the Very Rev. Francis J. Karwacki, Pastor as the celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Centralia. A viewing will be held on Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc.
