Nancy Marshalick

Nancy R. Marshalick, 92, formally of 208 S. Beech Street, Mount Carmel and for the past two years with her daughter Wendy and her husband George in Lovettsville, Virginia, passed away on May 30, 2024.

Born in Shamokin on November 8, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Leatha (Baskin) Brocious.  She was a graduate of Sunbury High School.  On January 17, 1953, she was married at SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church by Father Levitsky to Andrew H. Marshalick who preceded her in death on March 1, 2003.  Her sister Gerry and brother Bob also preceded her in death.

Prior to her retirement she was employed at Universal Packing in Mt. Carmel Township.

She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church and a volunteer on the pierogi crew.  She enjoyed her trips to the casino and especially her friends she went with.  She provided a lot of love for her grandchildren Andy, Brian and Jamie.  Her eyes always brightened when she saw her great grandchildren Alayna, Andrew and Adley Grace.

Surviving are her son, Steven Marshalick and his wife Anna of Conshohocken, PA; daughter, Wendy Facer and her husband George of Lovettsville, VA; a niece who was like a daughter, Michele Teevan of Mt. Carmel, nieces, nephews and adopted nieces, Amy Watkins and Colleen Conches.

Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 11:00 am in SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 131 North Beech Street, Mount Carmel with Very Rev. Archpriest Michael Hutsko officiating.  A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, Nancy had requested donations be made to SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 131 North Beech Street Mount Carmel, PA 17851.  Joseph J.
