Peggy Ann (Hindmarch) Rudock, 86 of 202 East Avenue, Mount Carmel passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Grandview Nursing & Rehabilitation, Danville where she resided since April.

 

Born in Natalie on November 14, 1936, she was a daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Camp) Hindmarch.

 

Peggy was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School.

 

On January 26, 1957, in SS Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Mount Carmel, she married the love of her life, Robert E. Rudock who survives. They would have celebrated their 67th anniversary in January.

 

Prior to her retirement, she was head cashier at the former Acme Markets for many years.

 

She was a member of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish.

 

Peggy especially enjoyed the time spent with her family. She also enjoyed visiting the casinos in Atlantic City with her husband and cheering for her favorite sports teams especially the North Carolina Tarheels men’s basketball team.

 

In addition to her husband, Robert E. Rudock, she is survived by two sons, Robert Rudock and his wife Kathy of Weston, FL and Richard Rudock and his wife Karen of Mechanicsburg; one daughter, Lisa Sheptock and her husband Frank of Berwick; eight grandchildren, Bobby, Mandy, Ryan, Jacob, Ricky, Katie, Nicole and Kelly; six great-grandchildren, Zachary, Tyler, Charlotte, Rylan, Brynnley and Evelyn.

 

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Norma Rhodes, Virginia Linn, Ethel Hartman and Marguerite Weaver.

 

Mass of Christian Burial with Very Rev. Francis J. Karwacki, Pastor as the celebrant and interment in All Saints Cemetery, Bear Gap were privately held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, 47 South Market Street, Mount Carmel, PA 17851. Joseph J. Stutz, Inc.
