MOUNT CARMEL — Richard P. Hauk Sr., 73, of Conshohocken and Mount Carmel, died Monday, May 9, 2016. He was born in Altoona, July 12, 1942, a son of the late Walter and Alma (Seidel) Hauk Sr. He attended St. Matthew High School. Richard worked as a bus driver for Auch Bus Co. and Schuylkill Valley Bus Co., was a milkman for Maurer's Dairy, was a truck driver for Glascow, and last worked as a manager for Great Dane Trucking until his retirement. He enjoyed outdoor activities, including fishing, hunting and camping. He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan, enjoyed trips to the shore and especially enjoyed spending time with this family. Richard is survived by his loving companion, Brenda Hauk, of Conshohocken; eight children, Richard Hauk Jr. (Kris), of Pottstown, Phil Rosko, of Mount Carmel, Frank Rosko (Tracey), of Mount Carmel, Vicki Krah (Chris), of Mount Carmel, Charlotte Watkins (Warren), of New Jersey, Lisa Scarlett (Lawrence), of Blue Bell, Denise Shirey (Michael), of Texas, and Susan Hauk, of Conshohocken; 18 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother, Walter M. Hauk Jr. (Carol), of Plymouth Township; three sisters, Roberta A. Corbin, of Eagleville, and Kathleen E. Hauk and Maureen E. Hauk, both of Conshohocken, a brother-in-law, Thomas Dorsam, of Doylestown; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Charlotte Hauk; a sister, LouAnn Dorsam; and a grandson, Richard Hauk III. HAUK — Richard P. Hauk Sr., 73, of Conshohocken and Mount Carmel. Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Matthew Church, 219 Fayette St., Conshohocken. A viewing will be held from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 516 Fayette St., Conshohocken. Another viewing will be held 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 S. Market St., Mount Carmel, followed by rite of committal and interment in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Richard's name to American Cancer Society , 480 Norristown Road 150, Blue Bell 19422, are appreciated.
