Robert D. Bozylinski, 81, of Raven Run, West Mahanoy Township passed away early Monday morning, January 19, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill East Norwegian Street, Pottsville.
Born at the former Ashland State Hospital on October 7, 1944, he was the son of the late Demetri and Alice (Cikanovich) Bozylinski.
Bob was a 1962 graduate of the former Immaculate Heart Academy, Fountain Springs. He was also a graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics.
Mr. Bozylinski served his country in the United States Navy from 1962 until 1966.
On July 26, 1969 in the former Saint Joseph’s Church, Girardville, he married the former Mary Lally who survives.
Bob had a lengthy career of almost thirty-five years with PPL Electric Utilities. He served in numerous positions and retired in 2004 as a mechanic and truck driver.
He was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Shenandoah, and the former Saint Vincent de Paul Church, Girardville. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Francis Cardinal Brennan Council 618, Shenandoah. Bob was a charter member of the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) Local 1600.
During the 1990s, Mr. Bozylinski owned and operated the former Way of the Warrior Dojo, Shenandoah, he held a second-degree black belt in the art. Bob was also an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Notre Dame football fan.
Surviving in addition to his wife of fifty-six years, Mary Bozylinski are his two sons, Robert Bozylinski and Brian Bozylinski both of Raven Run; a sister, Dolores; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 10:30 am in Divine Mercy Church, 234 West Cherry Street, Shenandoah with Very Rev. Msgr. Francis J. Karwacki as the celebrant. Interment with military honors will follow at 12:30 pm at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. A viewing will be held on Thursday morning from 8:15 am until 10:15 am in Divine Mercy Church. Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 S. Market St., Mt. Carmel, Joseph J.
