Robert Rudock, 86 of 202 East Avenue, Mount Carmel, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Mount Carmel on January 29, 1937, he was a son of the late Michael and Helen (Zavatski) Rudock.

He attended Mount Carmel Schools.

On January 26, 1957 in SS Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, he married the love of his life, the former Peggy Ann Hindmarch who preceded him in death on October 28, 2023.  They would have celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary in January.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an assistant manager for the former JCPenney in Mount Carmel and Shamokin.

Robert was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, a social member of the Mount Carmel VFW Post 2110 and the Lithuanian Social Club, Mount Carmel.

He enjoyed playing golf, spending time at the casinos in Atlantic City with his wife and watching sporting events.

Surviving are two sons, Robert Rudock and his wife Kathy of Weston, FL and Richard Rudock and his wife Karen of Mechanicsburg; one daughter, Lisa Sheptock and her husband Frank of Berwick; eight grandchildren, Bobby, Mandy, Ryan, Jacob, Ricky, Katie, Nicole and Kelly; six great-grandchildren, Zachary, Tyler, Charlotte, Rylan, Brynnley and Evelyn; his sister, Eleanor Filohoski of Kulpmont.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Peggy Ann Rudock, he was preceded in death by his sister, Anne Steffanick and her husband Charlie; brothers, Michael Rudock and his wife Pat, Kenny Rudock and his wife Shirley and Ronald Rudock; and his brother-in-law, Fabian Filohoski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Mount Carmel with the Very Rev. Francis J. Karwacki, Pastor as the celebrant.  Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Bear Gap.  A viewing will be held in the church on Friday morning from 9:00 am until 9:45 am.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, 47 South Market Street, Mount Carmel, PA 17851.  Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mount Carmel, Joseph J.
