She treasured the time spent with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to family, Rose loved taking her grandchildren camping in her RV at local state parks and other campgrounds throughout the state. She also loved her trips to Nashville, TN to visit Graceland and the Grand Ole Opry. Even though only several people were present, she starting singing out loudly on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry much to the embarrassment of her family. Rose also really looked forward to Sundays when she would listen to three straight hours of polkas on the radio. She also really looked forward to her Tuesday visits to Danny's with Rick and her Thursday Centiole's pizza night with Dave.

Surviving are her two sons, David J. Eye and his wife Marci (McCoy) Eye of Aristes and Rick H. Eye and his wife Denise (Pekera) Eye of Girardville; five grandchildren, David Eye and his wife Amanda of Mount Carmel, Jennifer Eye and her companion Al Tillerson of Lyndhurst, NJ, Jeremy Eye and his companion Suzy Ulicny of Harrisburg, Jessica Redding and her husband Tom of Bethlehem and Josh Eye and his companion Rachel Roseman of Bethlehem; four great-granddaughters, Hadley, Harper and Nora Redding and Milan Tillerson; nieces, nephews and their families.
