Stephen A. Moraskie

Stephen A. Moraskie, 58, of 1 Oregon Circle, Kulpmont passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023.

Born at the former Ashland State Hospital on June 4,1964, he was the son of Ellen (Schlagle) Moraskie who survives and the late Francis J. Moraskie who survives.

He was a 1982 graduate of Mt. Carmel Area High School.

Steve was a hard worker all his life. He was employed for many years as the manager of the former Bi-Lo Market in Atlas. He then had a lengthy employment for the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections at SCI Coal Township where he also was in management.

He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish. Steve was an avid Miami Dolphins fan, Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. He had various hobbies but most of all enjoyed gardening and taking care of his home.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Sherry Varano and her husband David of Elysburg and a nephew and niece who Steve adored, Chad Varano and Krysten Varano both of Conshohocken.
