Raphael A. Adinolfi, DDS, 75, of Mt. Carmel passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on March 1st, 1943 he was the son of the late Arthur and Carmella (Fabrizio) Adinolfi.
He was a graduate of St. Peter’s High School in Staten Island, Brooklyn College and New York University School of Dentistry.
He was married in Brooklyn NY in 1973 to Maureen (Hines) Adinolfi who survives.
Raphael was a retired dentist. He had practiced in Brooklyn for 38 years before his retirement.
Raphael attended the First Baptist Church in Shamokin and was a member of the Valley Gun and Country Club in Elysburg. He was avid target shooter and he enjoyed salt water fishing.
In addition to his wife of 45 years, he is survived by one son, Steven Adinolfi and his wife Jenna of Queens, NY; one daughter, Kathleen Adinolfi of Queens, NY; two grandchildren, Hally and Quinn and one sister, Frances Adinolfi.
Religious services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Sam Durr officiating at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Township.
