Obituary for Clayton F. Kisela
Claton F. Kisela, 65 of Mt. Carmel passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the Mt. Carmel Senior Living Community.
Born at the former Ashland State Hospital on August 1, 1953 he was the son of the late Stephen and Mary Jane (King) Kisela.
He was a 1971 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School.
Clayton was owner and operator of a tri-axle which he used in the coal industry. In his younger years he was a well-known auto painter and mechanic.
Surviving are one daughter, Veronica Persing and her husband William of Coal Township; three sons, Clayton Kiesla, Jr. of Allentown, Troy Kisela of Coal Township and Keith Kisela of Mt. Carmel; six grandchildren, Aubrey, Alyssa and Aaron Persing, and Brandon, Sophia and Connor Kisela; two brothers, Stephen Kisela of Sunbury and Joseph Kisela and his wife Sharon of Schuylkill Haven; five sisters, Belinda Grilli and her husband Tom of Ridgewood, NJ., Kathleen Nodzak and her husband John of Somerset, NJ., Eileen Jones and her husband Jack of Barnesville, Mary Murray and her husband Dale of Rockledge, Florida, and Jovay Mata and her husband Fernie of Palm Bay, Florida.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were one daughter, Jessica and one brother, David.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel with the Rev. Francis J. Karwacki, Pastor officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Ralpho Township. Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home to help defray the cost of the funeral services.
