David D. Pizzoli, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2021 with his family by his side.
David was born January 20, 1940 in Danville, Pa. the son of David J. Pizzoli and Frances Martini Pizzoli. David grew up in Atlas and loved sharing stories of his childhood memories.
He graduated from St. Peter’s Grade School and Catholic High in Mt. Carmel, where he met his wife Anne Kealy Pizzoli, whom he married on July 19, 1958.
David spent most of his life as an underwriter and later as a salesman in the insurance industry. His office was located in the Guarantee Trust Building, in Mt. Carmel, where he provided insurance services to area residents and businesses. Later in his career, he formed a real estate inspection company with a concentration throughout central Pennsylvania.
A loyal sports fan, he attended many Yankees, Eagles and Phillies games. He was a Penn State season ticket holder and he and his friends and family enjoyed many games in State College.
Aside form collegiate and professional sports, he loved music, including big band sounds, Sinarta, Pavarotti and the Boston Pops. Along with his wife and daughter, Anne Frances of Washington, D.C., David enjoyed traveling, including trips to New York City, Washington D.C. and vacationing in Maine.
He was an avid golfer and a daily walker. Those who met him on his daily walks will remember his smile and spirt.
David was a member of the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. He is survived by his wife Anne and daughter Anne Frances, brothers Joseph (Anna) of New Jersey, Frank of Harrisburg and sister Maryanne (Michael) Woytowich of Marion Heights and many nieces and nephews of whom he was so very proud.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday , September 29,2021 at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church with the Rev. Francis J. Karwacki, Pastor as celebrant. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery Ralpho Township. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home, 40 South Market Street, Mt. Carmel, Joseph J. Stutz, III Supervisor. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church or the Mt.
